Regain your essence


We all come to earth innocent and impressionable. But we also bring with us a lot of influences that have been pre-programmed into our DNA. Influences from our parent's genetic makeup which in turn have been shaped by the genetic makeup of their previous generations and so on. 

But we also come with our own special essence - the one that makes us unique. As we move on through life, through our school, high school and college years, we get shaped by an unbelievable amount of external influences. Friends, family, teachers, mentors and even media. Sometimes even a short meeting with someone who has a powerful presence can have a lot of influence on our lives. 

Some of these can shape us for the better. But unfortunately, some of these influences can have an adverse effect on us, altering us and disconnecting us from our own true essence. I've personally worked on myself each time I became aware that I was not being myself. 

So here is a small prayer/affirmation or maybe even just a statement to the universe, to reconnect back to our true energy. 

"I understand I may have knowingly or unknowingly picked up a lot of influences, essence and energies that do not truly belong to me. Similarly, I may have also influenced and given away my own essence and energies to others. If there is any influence, energy or essence that I may have picked up and is not for my highest good, I am now ready to release and let it all go, either to its original owner, if it is for their highest good, or to the Universe, for it to be transformed and transmuted for the highest good of all concerned. 

If I've given away any energy or essence to someone, that may not be for their highest good, I am ready to take it all back in its original and purest form, in a way and manner that is for my highest good. I am now ready to be reconnected with my original essence."

This is short but extremely effective to repeat, especially when you have the feeling that something is 'off' and can't quite decipher what is wrong.

Make energy cleanse a regular ritual

Image By tohamina I recently felt the full impact of an energy attack. I thought I was protecting my energy well, but I realized I had not done enough. We all go through such attacks at least a few times in our lives. But what's most important are the choices we make when such an attack occurs.  These attacks want us to make the wrong choices. It gives them more leverage. The power of a boomerang curse

Image by stockking on Freepik I want to share a story with you, something that I personally experienced and that left me so spellbound. There was some illegal activity happening in the neighborhood and as residents of the area, most of us were rightly concerned and were trying to handle it legally. But in the process, one of the concerned persons (let's call them person X) vehemently cursed those involved in the illegal activity (let's call the person Y), wishing destruction upon their property.  I was nearby and heard the curse and the instinctively knew that was not a good sign. My heart skipped a beat and I suddenly felt unsafe. Unfortunately, I did not act upon my instincts and reverse the cure.
