Create a gratitude group

After my last post 'Weave gratitude into your life', one of the main questions I was asked was how to ensure being present.

As I mentioned in the previous article, we have no shortage of distractions in our everyday life as every single second, minute, and hour slips away from us before we even realize it is gone.

I also gave a method by which we can consciously focus on being grateful throughout the day.

In this article, I want to suggest another method that can possibly be even more fun in our journey towards a more grateful living.

Get a group of friends you can connect with and create a gratitude group. You can help each other and guide each other to stay on the path of gratitude. You can even help each other notice more things to be grateful for.

Even if, in a group of 3-4 people, each can have 2 things to be grateful for twice a week, it is a good place to start.

There are times when some of us feel a lot of resistance to even move toward gratitude. This could also be because of a fear that if we are grateful - if we acknowledge, something is worth being thankful for, we will get stuck there and it will not get better.

But that's not what happens. The more we are thankful for, the more opportunities we get to be thankful for.

I also acknowledge, there will be times when the only thing that feels good is to complain about everything. And that's ok, as long as we go through that phase, come out of it and move towards gratitude again.

A gratitude group will be very helpful in these situations. So go ahead, set up your own gratitude group, and let it light up the lives of you and your loved ones.

If you would like to start the journey to welcome the miracles of gratitude into your own life, connect with me from the above or the below links.

Procrastination Vs Perfectionism

Pebbles photo created by rawpixel.com - www.freepik.com Are you a perfectionist? Is it really hard for you to move ahead or complete your tasks till it is all perfect? And even then do you keep coming back to check everything is good enough or can it be improved further?  Does this quest for perfectionism keep you stuck in the same spot for too long because you would rather see this as perfect than what lies ahead?  The need to be perfect may by itself have its roots elsewhere, but sometimes it may just hold you back in a place of "I am not ready to move ahead"  or "I am still not done here" even when others see no apparent reason for you to be doing what you are.  Don't get me wrong, perfectionism also means you see things others don't and are incredibly grateful you stuck to your decisions to not just settle. But when you start noticing yourself procrastinating o...

Make energy cleanse a regular ritual

Image By tohamina I recently felt the full impact of an energy attack. I thought I was protecting my energy well, but I realized I had not done enough. We all go through such attacks at least a few times in our lives. But what's most important are the choices we make when such an attack occurs.  These attacks want us to make the wrong choices. It gives them more leverage. When I experienced this energy attack, possibly one of the longest running attacks, it took me a while to realize it.  It felt as if everyone and everything was against me. I was experiencing feelings and emotions that did not feel like mine. All I wanted to do was to rave and rant.  But once I realized that all of it felt unnatural, I knew I've to start moving out all these energies that weren't mine. They felt like iron filings clinging on to a magnet. I worked on clearing this energy out everyday, till the source...

The power of a boomerang curse

Image by stockking on Freepik I want to share a story with you, something that I personally experienced and that left me so spellbound. There was some illegal activity happening in the neighborhood and as residents of the area, most of us were rightly concerned and were trying to handle it legally. But in the process, one of the concerned persons (let's call them person X) vehemently cursed those involved in the illegal activity (let's call the person Y), wishing destruction upon their property.  I was nearby and heard the curse and the instinctively knew that was not a good sign. My heart skipped a beat and I suddenly felt unsafe. Unfortunately, I did not act upon my instincts and reverse the cure. Sure enough, the curse rebound back in less than a week affecting not just the property of 'person X', but also everyone else nearby, including me.  The damage that happened was EXACTLY the same as what 'person X' had curs...
