The beliefs and patterns cycle

When we are born, we come into this life with a clean slate, to be filled in with our experiences, learnings, and understandings. The wonder years as amazing as they are, are also the years when our brains accept all information without question. So they are also crucial years to form all kinds of beliefs. Some beliefs may be from our own experiences, while others can even be formed while listening to a conversation between adults, or even from media. In fact, these days media also counts among the most powerful influencers in belief formation.

These beliefs can also start from the simplest of habits like putting on the right sock before the left. Or if the parents use harmless threats to get their child to do something. Maybe something like "If you leave your towel by the door, you'll have bad luck all day." Now the parent would have told that just to get things done, but for the child, one experience of bad luck after leaving the towel by the door reinforces the belief.

So each time the child leaves the towel on the floor, the child starts dreading or expecting something bad to happen. And our subconscious mind is powerful enough to attract what we expect. And with each experience, the belief is reinforced. Thus starting a loop of pattern and belief.

A lot of times these beliefs also come down to us across generations. They get modified or altered till no one knows how, where, and when was the belief born, under what situation and circumstance. The only evidence of the belief that remains is unexplainable patterns in our lives.

The good news however is that we can set ourselves free from these patterns and beliefs. It takes a bit of unraveling the complex web and sometimes the not-so-complex web. But once it is undone, our lives have so much more freedom.

If you are noticing certain patterns in your life and would like to see what belief is hiding behind those patterns, so you can set yourself free from both, it is possible.

And if you would like some help in identifying and clearing them, feel free to connect with me using either the above or the below links.

Weave gratitude into your life

Image by jcomp on Freepik We all know the power of gratitude. We all know, the more we have to be thankful for, the more we have opportunities to be thankful for. This is possibly one of the most well-known mantras since the time people understood the concept of the law of attraction. But still, the moment we get caught up in our daily life, gratitude more often than not slips way back into our priority lists. Have you noticed that the only time you are holding on to the attitude of gratitude is when you are present in the here and now?  So accepted and acknowledged that we in our daily lives have enough attractions, distractions, to-do lists, not-to-do lists, etc. which all come together from making sure we are all not always in a state of gratitude.  The universe is very smart, it has given us the tool to achieve so many things, but also made sure the only way we c...

The cycle of manifestation and self-sabotage

Image by pressfoto on Freepik One of the biggest topics of interest over forever may be Manifestation. Everyone wants to manifest something or the other, me included. But so very often as we get closer and closer to the goal, something seems to pull us away.  As we start noticing the signs and signals that we are almost there, things invariably start going wrong or falling apart. If it is a relationship manifestation, there may be unexplained conflicts. If it is a job manifestation, the last round of interviews may probably get postponed for no reason. If it is a travel manifestation, something may get canceled at the last minute. If it is a home manifestation, the neighbors may not match your wavelength.  Sounds familiar?  Why does this happen? Why is it that when we are so close to getting something, everything changes? When we are trying to manifest something, maybe a relationship, we get caught up i...

Indicators of energy release

Image by 8photo on Freepik What are the indicators of energy release? We work on understanding, accepting, acknowledging and releasing energies all the time.  But how do we know that the energy is actually moving? One of the most common indicators of the released energy leaving our body is through yawning. Whether we are working with tapping, guided imagery, quantum healing or even other modalities of energy healing such as Reiki - Yawning along with feeling physically tired is a huge indicator of energy release.  Other indicators of energy release can include tears, crying, hiccups, burps, feeling very sleepy- to the point of being unable to keep eyes open and in extreme cases it can even include fever, purging ( specially if the released energy is a lot of disgust), and diarrhea.   Unless the release symptoms are very uncomfortable or are not subsiding, all that needs to be done to facilitate better and easier transition of the energy is to drink plenty of...
