Fear of judgement vs sharing feelings/emotions

The things that eat us up from inside, the things we hold inside, the emotions that are desperate to get out are most of the time because of our own fears of others' reactions. The fear of being judged, ridiculed and even patronized is so intimidating that holding all these painful thoughts, feelings and emotions inside seem to be a better option.

But we are all well aware of the implications of carrying such heavy baggage around. At the least, it is going to be extremely stressful but if it is held in for too long, it can also cause physical, mental and emotional long-term damage.

Sad but true, a lot of men feel it is weak to be vulnerable, probably as a result of childhood conditioning and for a lot of women there is a fear of shame as well.

But everyone feels emotions, everyone hurts, everyone has feelings and everyone makes mistakes at some point or other and that's okay. As I've mentioned in one of my previous articles (Talk to a friend with EFT), if there is even one friend who you can trust, you can try releasing your emotions while working on EFT with them.

The most important aspect is knowing and understanding that it is alright to have these feelings and it is alright to let them out. The trick is to find the healthiest and the best way to do it.

If not, you can even find a quiet place and try EFT on your own with these statements. Say it aloud and be your own best friend in the process.

"Even though I am feeling all this and have no way of letting it out, I still choose to love, accept and forgive myself."

"Even though I do not have even a single person to share it with and it is too overwhelming to hold it inside, I still choose to love, accept and forgive myself."

"Even though I doubt anyone will ever understand what I've gone through or am going through - I cannot hold this in any longer - it is too painful. I still choose to love, accept and forgive myself."

I promise you, once the emotions start coming out, you'll feel a lot lighter and better.

If there is some age-old stuff buried deep inside, things you know or do not know about and are having trouble getting it out, then it is better to work with someone who can help you detoxify yourself and help you get the much-needed freedom.

Make energy cleanse a regular ritual

Image By tohamina I recently felt the full impact of an energy attack. I thought I was protecting my energy well, but I realized I had not done enough. We all go through such attacks at least a few times in our lives. But what's most important are the choices we make when such an attack occurs.  These attacks want us to make the wrong choices. It gives them more leverage. When I experienced this energy attack, possibly one of the longest running attacks, it took me a while to realize it.  It felt as if everyone and everything was against me. I was experiencing feelings and emotions that did not feel like mine. All I wanted to do was to rave and rant.  But once I realized that all of it felt unnatural, I knew I've to start moving out all these energies that weren't mine. They felt like iron filings clinging on to a magnet. I worked on clearing this energy out everyday, till the source...

Weave gratitude into your life

Image by jcomp on Freepik We all know the power of gratitude. We all know, the more we have to be thankful for, the more we have opportunities to be thankful for. This is possibly one of the most well-known mantras since the time people understood the concept of the law of attraction. But still, the moment we get caught up in our daily life, gratitude more often than not slips way back into our priority lists. Have you noticed that the only time you are holding on to the attitude of gratitude is when you are present in the here and now?  So accepted and acknowledged that we in our daily lives have enough attractions, distractions, to-do lists, not-to-do lists, etc. which all come together from making sure we are all not always in a state of gratitude.  The universe is very smart, it has given us the tool to achieve so many things, but also made sure the only way we c...

Procrastination Vs Perfectionism

Pebbles photo created by rawpixel.com - www.freepik.com Are you a perfectionist? Is it really hard for you to move ahead or complete your tasks till it is all perfect? And even then do you keep coming back to check everything is good enough or can it be improved further?  Does this quest for perfectionism keep you stuck in the same spot for too long because you would rather see this as perfect than what lies ahead?  The need to be perfect may by itself have its roots elsewhere, but sometimes it may just hold you back in a place of "I am not ready to move ahead"  or "I am still not done here" even when others see no apparent reason for you to be doing what you are.  Don't get me wrong, perfectionism also means you see things others don't and are incredibly grateful you stuck to your decisions to not just settle. But when you start noticing yourself procrastinating o...
